Gustav Klimt

Best Klimt Website Ever:  http://www.iklimt.com/

Klimt is a lot like Mucha in that they both are considered part of the Art Nouveau movement, and they both painted a lot of women.  However, Klimt's works were a lot more sexual than Mucha's.  Klimt used a lot of shapes (like the squares, circles, triangles, and swirls seen in this piece) to make up his beautiful paintings.  Klimt is probably my favorite artist!

Alphonse Mucha

Mucha is an Art Nouveau artist.  The subject of most of his works are women.  His style is very ornate.
